Re-paved Road/Tore up cement

Basically when they redid our road and tore up our “apron” cement at the end of our driveway they replaced it and made it 1-2”inches shorter on both sides which is now forcing us to take a sharp turn when back out (Due to car parked in the street across from our driveway) and we have to drive through mud/area where grass will never grow. I feel as if that since they tore up a certain amount they should have replaced it with the same amount? It's just a big mess and looks terrible.
Who can I contact to address this situation?

thanks,

-S

If it was the city, call your councilperson.

Any chance you could have a friendly conversation with the neighbor who so inconsiderately parks across from your driveway?

Street parking - ugh! Don't get me started again on that one........

Yeah, what Foodie said ... I've noticed that people are creatures of habit when it comes to neighborhood parking. But I extended our driveway a bit by adding paving stones alongside & now we've got a little more wiggle room. If you go this route, use the largest, heaviest paving stones you can find. Smaller ones might get undermined by moles.
