Commercial storefronts - temporary rental

Do any of you guys own vacant commercial storefront property, preferably on the west end of town? I'm putting together a business plan I'd like to launch this spring, for a "pop up store" in the area. Basically, it'd be a temporary store that moved in, opened for one weekend (or maybe a few) and then packed up and went somewhere else.

The signage and fixtures will be professional, but temporary. Once we were gone, it'd be like we were never there. I figure it's a way for some vacant properties to be shown "in business" to potential lessees, and it could generate some income for a place that's sitting dormant.

If anyone's interested, shoot me a message and let's talk. I'm also interested in trying this in some of the smaller towns outside Toledo proper.

Sounds like a wonderful idea! I've read about pop-up stores in the New York City area. I look forward to whatever you come up with.

Thanks! My initial plan is for a book-and-music store, with records, CDs, movies, etc. Some of us still like physical media, but I think it's a concept best suited for a temporary store than a full-time location nowdays. If this goes well, I have some other store ideas I'd like to launch too. It's a somewhat novel idea for this area and we have plenty of empty space, so hopefully it'll attract some interest.
