Buckeye Cable

So we have the whole DVR box thing in our living room and it works fine. However I am noticing that our other tv's that just have buckeye cable hooked up to them (Not to a DVR Box) are way off point with sound and matching the show. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Yes, this is common, The timing of the signal varies depending on how you are connected. The cable box signal and the signal directly from the wire can be as little as an echo to a couple of seconds different. Running from the antenna is about 5 seconds sooner.

stooks: are you comparing the audio/video sync to the DVR box or are you saying that on the other TV's w/o the box that the audio/video are out of sync? If you are thinking that the audio/video from the TV with the DVR box and the other TV's should match - it won't. Keep in mind that the DVR box is always recording the current channel - whether you've told it to or not.

Yes, ours are out of sync. No surprise there.

Sorry I should have been more clear to what I was describing...Yes I know its common for the DVR to not match up with the reg cable just plugged into the tv but what I mean is the picture doesn't match up with the audio on our tv that's just plugged straight into the tv. Sorry I am not tech savy so I hope that makes sense

Is it on any channel or just certain ones?

Most TVs have an audio sync setting. Go to the TV menu, go to audio or sound, whatever they call it, then look for advanced audio settings and you should find an audio sync setting.
