Blackberry Corners

Even though I grew up out that way, I have never been to Blackberry Corners. I've always heard great things about it, especially the pizza. Is it still good? Worth a minor road trip?

We go about once every 3-4 months. Very casual. Pizza toppings are plentiful, reminds me of making your own Sofo's pizza. The staff is always nice. We tend to sit at the bar, because the place can sometimes be overrun by rugrats/kids.

Their homemade pies are tasty.

My only thing about their pizza is it's not done enough for my taste. I like brown bubbly bits on my cheese and their's comes out solid white. I have not asked them to overcook it a bit yet, we're only out there 1-2 times a year (and we just found out how good Costco's pizza is, lol, so it may be a while) but next time I go, I'm gonna ask. Sitting in the bar is fun.

Mr. Gamegrrl says he used to get potato chip pizza there, and I see they do still have "crushed chips" on the menu. Quirky. Might be yummy! I'll have to see if I can coax him out for a date...

Crushed chips are OK on the hot pizza, terrible the next day on leftover pizza

I hate next-day-pizza anyway, so it won't impact me. LOL!
