I'm helping a family friend move out of their house this weekend. I suspect we're going to encounter a large amount of objects we will want to throw away. Furniture and other objects that might be too big for the trash can.
Can anyone provide insight on how Perrysburg treats this kind of situation? Do they offer an unlimited pickup?
They make them move to Perrysburg Heights.
Oh wow, so you don't need to give them special notice? That's super helpful! Thanks dude.
Remember when we were told a long time ago that Toledo has the "Cadillac of trash pick up"? Nope. That would be Perrysburg. It kicks ass.
Just a thought - if you are giving away usable furniture, etc., several of the local charities offer pickup of donation items. I've used both Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity ReStore and Salvation Army to pickup furniture and other stuff.
Yeah, that is the plan for things of value. I am getting the sense there is also just a lot of old junk. Thanks!
If you get it out to the curb the evening before...after 6 pm... it will most likely get picked up by the regular "treasure hunters." There are at least two groups with trailers that come through the neighborhood on trash night.
