Sounds like the typical mindless drivel all of the networks waste air time with.

Grab a book and learn something worthwhile.

TV=Bad, Books=Good?

I don't know, there is some great filmed art on television these days. I'd argue it's better than films, and has been for more than a decade. This one has a pretty decent group of people involved, could be promising. LMK if you want a binge watch list. In the meantime-American Gods, Fargo, Better Call Saul. That should keep you busy.

American Gods is terrible. The rest are amazing. Huge Better Call Saul fan. That is all.

The shows you mention aren't on network TV, which is really bad.

I've found the best TV lately is series on Netflix and Amazon.

Depends upon the household and preferences. In our household, the two major TV networks are Netflix and Amazon. I need the minor networks only to watch the NFL.

Yeah, not sure why it's bad. I don't watch any tv these days. It's almost entirely youtube for me when I have a moment. Our culture is constantly shifting.

The Wire is good. At the moment, it's still available on Amazon Prime.

They must work boo Ben Konop in there somehow.

I'm picturing an Office type show where they follow the antics of a workplace and interview cast members on the side and ask them about what's going on. They'll follow the mayor and council in their daily activities. It'll be hilarious and make the Office look like a serious show and Michael Scott look like a genius.

NBC has This Is Us, which is a great show.

Sterling K Brown has consistently given Emmy worthy performances in his role. I know he recently won an Emmy for playing Christopher Darden in The People VS OJ Simpson. He deserves to get a nomination next time around for This Is Us.

Outside of The Americans on F/X, I don't watch any TV--well except Survivor and The Amazing Race, which we watch as a family. Oh, and America's Got Talent, another family viewing staple.

I guess I do watch TV.

Thanks but we don't do much binge watching. Since we have precious little time for TV watching in general, we're pretty selective about how we spend that time.

I haven't seen anything on the legacy networks in years that I'd consider worthy of that time.

i will agree-97%+ of network TV is total crap. Netflix, HBO, FX, AMC, etc, that's where most of the quality is these days. There have been, over the years, some network gems. This particular show has a good creative team behind it, so it has potential.

Fingers crossed

If I'm not watching the Columbus Bluejackets getting hammered (or is that and getting hammered - I can never remember), I watch PBS with occasional side trips to MeTV, etc. I put up an indoor antenna and get plenty of channels.

Wait a minute...Lindsay Webb? What does that say about me? Or worse...her.

I'm much more of a Mike Bell type. Ass-smackin' and talking up the ladies at the bar and all that.

SNL nerd here. Looking forward to it. Toledo native, SNL alum is writing and producing. I'm not much into big 3 sitcoms but I'll give AP Bio a try. Has anyone watched Detroiters? Great show on Comedy Central. The local Detroit ad parodies are worth it.

For any Johnnie's, this is apparently based on Mr Douglas. Which makes total sense. Created by a St John's grad, and John Douglas got his undergrad from Harvard and doctorate from Michigan, if I remember right, and taught... AP Bio!

*Johnnies, damn it. Letting Doc Demar down with that poor misplacement of non-possessive punctuation. Simplicity personified.

I heard the same thing. Hopefully, they can draw on some of the other characters of that era. Fr. Sweeney and Mr Beier were legends.
