More on debunking Republicons' Oily corruption

You can't ignore the ppm of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, its increasing way beyond reason, and it lasts for thousands of years. It increases temperature. The more fossil fuel we burn, the more people we kill with the other pollutants present in it. But the costs of moving cities away from coastlines will be the biggest cost of climate change, more even than all the cost of all the wars on earth.

Need proof, its all around you, but China's cities are a good example, their fossil fuel burning kills many thousands every year, and the smoke knows no boundaries and doesn't grant immunity to any child.

As far as Corzine signing a bill to save people from dying,,, it also will create an explosion of jobs in the solar and wind industries as well as jobs in installation of same. Equally strong job maker will be the new emphasis on efficiency programs that could easily employ several hudred thousand nationwide. No amount of oil drilling in the US will change the price of gas or decrease our national security vulnerability that oil represents. The efficiency standards for cars that would have made a difference were fought by republicans tooth and nail throughout this crisis, until they finally passed a weak cafe standard recently. By not passing this earlier, they made us more dependent, they saw the price of gas skyrocketing and did nothing.

The republicon tax credits offer $100,000 tax credits is you buy a hummer, ony a couple thousand if you buy a hybrid. Your party is guilty of wanting to continue to poison our lungs and water and food, and the treason of wanting to keep us in an eternal war to benefit oil companies. You are a fool, and you will always be able to find fools to agree with your propaganda, especially when Exxon is paying them $10,000 every time they write a story or open their pie holes.

You somehow think that the founder of the weather channel has some great relevance as he speaks against the consensus of many thousands of real climate scientists (99.7%), like Jim Hansen at NASA. Your president , vice president, and party are simply oil workers, doing what they are told, which is to lie and delude others at the entire county's expense.

You really have some rather serious psychological issues.

Seek help.

Is TeamDub saying that global warming is only an idea in our heads? Or that if we fear [such as the government/media generated concept of terrorism] we should seek help, such as with Iraq?

You've just listed all the reasons for not invading other countries for their oil. Not to mention messing up the planet with CO2. Now count how many of them we have killed in the same time period. Oh, and don't forget to list all the covert interventions and payoffs, changing borders, putting up and shutting down their leaders and governments. LOL,, you have just beaten up on your own arguments for burning fossil fuels AND also going to war for oil.

Alternative energy and ejecting corporations from our government would result in the return of democracy to our country, and respect and cooperation from other countries,, but those things are contrary to corporate influence and rule.

Its quite funny that you defeat your own argument, and while doing so think that you have posted a winning point. Please dude, read a fucking book.

Hilarious that you might suggest I "read a fucking book," the irony is absolutely delicious.

Now Baaaaaaa like a good sheep, you pathetic useful idiot.

Have YOU read an actual book or visited a website other than DailyKos, Democrtatic Underground or Huffington Post lately?

Ever?

Have you ever had actually tried critical thinking versus hyperventilating, profane talking points warped through the prism of a stunted, emasculated and pathetic intellect?

Do you know anything whatsoever about the build-up to the current war in Iraq?

Do you know anything whatsoever about the conditions of the cease-fire agreement with Iraq after Gulf 1 ?

Can you tell me how many precious U.N. resolutions were blatantly ignored by the brutal dictatorship of Saddam Hussein?

Do you have any grasp whatsoever of the difficulties and nuances of foreign policy, and that sometimes, unfortunately, a set of circumstances (and yes, that does include DEFENDING A SOVEREIGN COUNTRY from Iraq, for a multitude of reasons - including further destabilization of the region, and YES - to protect the flow of a vital global resource that currently allows us to live as we do - oil.) dictates the use of force failing diplomacy?

Please, try an exercise - do a little research and pay attention to the timeline leading up to both Gulf War I & II. Please. Look at them as a rational (perhaps a difficult task) human being and note the absolute belligerence of the corrupt, terror-supporting dictatorship in Iraq.

Once again, the United States does the dirty work the EuroWeasals (HI France!) et al are incapable of addressing.

You are clearly absolutely clueless outside of a handful of lefty websites, so the irony, as I said, is fucking delicious.

True. The average American is in more danger from conservative ideology than terrorism.

""True. The average American is in more danger from conservative ideology than terrorism.""

Agreed!!!

LOL,, so true Pink_slip, and perhaps ol team dub should read his constitution and bill of rights,,, and perhaps the declaration.

He talks of sheep, its his kind that are giving up liberty for security, and all marching to the goose steps. Talk about sheep.

His latest post is what faux news preaches constantly, and Rush the oxycontin man. They run on fear, hate, and greed, and worship ignorance. They are the propaganda arm of government now, something that is actually quite illegal. Interesting that they receive talking points from the white house in advance of news.

Goose stepping is easier and "safer" perhaps than keeping an open mind and looking for the truth. Is it fear that overcomes their ability to reason I wonder, to become pliable and listen to the party line, unquestioning and intolerant of other views, reason and logic. "The Shock Doctrine" details it pretty well. A great free short movie version of it if you google the phrase.
