We had a black squirrel move into the woods next door, and the following year we had an interesting crop of fox squirrels that were brown with black markings.
For the goose problem, I'll assume you're against hunting them with a tennis racket, which you can generally do if they're flocking to a particular neighborhood. The solution is to go out on social media, like Facebook, and advertise for an Australian Cattle Dog that will work on the goose problem for a few weeks in exchange for some kind of pay. Gas money or something. If you can't find anyone, either post or email me. I know someone with a pair of dogs and they'll have those geese on the run.
Keep this up for a week or so, and the geese will find someplace else to invade and terrorize the inhabitants.
