Well then it appears that everything is going to work out just right. It looks almost like the perfect plan to me. By the time we run out of energy and money, the world will burn up from global warming and we wont have to feel guilty about leaving anything behind.

Hell why not chart the amount of oxygen all the humans breath, then chart the percent of oxygen in the world and predict when we will all just keel over with asphyxiation.

proof that most of the major religions are suicide cults,,, "reproduce and multiply" till there are no resources left,, and when your population starts to get smart, import some illegals who breed like rabbits.

The graphs really are striking.

What the hell are you talking about, you ignorant bigot?

Char- good graphs. As technology advanced, people live longer and and healthier. We don't have the plagues of the dark ages anymore that wipe out millions (excluding the wars/food/water crisis in Africa). It was inevitable we overpopulate and resources dwindle.

Prime, you know that the go 'forth and multiply' doesn't have to do with making babies, don't you?

because if you're missing that point, you might want to go forth and educate yourself a bit.

I think modern medicine and food quality are trying to phase out that longer and healthier part. Ignorance is the greatest commodity.

In my opinion, the beginning of the end for mankind started with "tv dinners" or prepared foods. The trend it created in developing conveniences became a monster that is out of control on so many levels.

Here is where I believe the US got off on the wrong track - literally - and why we don't have functioning mass transit systems in more cities today. I have no pity for the decline of American auto manufacturers.

Me either - for decades it's been "buy American, or you're a bad citizen"

Never once has it been "the Japs are beating us out - we need to get off our duffs and do it better than they do".

If America is asking for a car with lower MPG, then they need to figure out how to do that - if demand is there for lower priced cars, then they need to figure out how to be more efficient in their production...

US will have no prob producing food, though perhaps not in the great industrial manner of past decades. Woe to the ME countries who have to import food though. They better get to composting to get their soil in condition between their many daily prayers. They may even have to import their food from Israel LOL
