The "Battle of Toledo," the clash left two strikers dead and more than 200 injured. The strike is regarded by many labor historians as one of the three most important strikes in U.S. history.

I think it's an interesting read, meaning of course no one else will. There's a park commemorating it on Champlain and Elm I believe, Union Memorial Park. Very not so tongue-in-cheek.

I wonder how many people ever heard about it?

my wife's grandfather was a shop floor union rep and present when bullets flew.

i would think most people are aware of it although, like the battle of fallen timbers, locals do not place much importance on it while national historians do.
