Anyone familiar with Ohio or Michigan farms that sell cow or herd shares in order to legally purchase raw milk?

You'll probably have more luck on the Michigan side of the border. Ohio is one of the toughest states for raw milk laws.
AmericanPie: Raw milk just tastes better, either over your morning bowl of Cheerios, or especially made into homemade artisanal cheeses. Pasteurization kills some of the nutrition and a lot of the flavor. There's an element of risk to raw milk, but no more than deli meats.

Raw milk is so darn good. Used to drink it all the time as a kid. I lived summers on a lake in a rural farming community. Everybody had a few dairy cows. Nobody got sick from it that I ever heard of. Once you taste it you'll always wish you could get it.
Contact C/J Natural Meats. It's a northwest Ohio farm. They sell their cheese products at the Perrysburg and Toledo farmers markets. Excellent cheese. I believe they offer herd shares and raw milk that you can get a couple times a month.

Or human breast milk which, get this, was actually made for human consumption.
