Has anyone here called someone a racist because they said they were not voting for Obama? Just curious.

Yep, go look up ryan's postings on the subject.

Yep, I did. I don’t think every single person voting for McCain is a racist – but wabbit most certainly acts like one.

Between her and that “other” poster worried about all the Muslims infiltrating Toledo we have at least two on this board.

But maybe just the one since they seem to be the same person.

Sorry ryan, but you're a liar.

Wouldn't be the first time.

This edited story means nothing.

I'd wager you could do the same thing with the dumbasses in Texas who voted for Bush or the hicks in Alaska who will vote for McPalin.

Please provide something I've said that makes me a racist.

I hate to use this cliche but, You don't know me other than my politics. Do you judge everyone so quickly? Of course you do, you're a liberal hate-mongering, separatist. Well, at least that's how you portray yourself here.

Perhaps you are really a nice guy who loves his family and whose family loves him. Perhaps you do have friends that you would die for or would die for you. I don't know. I would gamble that you are good person, but just hate anyone that doesn't fit your perceived mold of humanity merely based on their politics.

The problem with the internet is that one can only appear to be one-dimensional to others. It's so easy to make assumptions based on such limited view.

Let's stop the personal attacks ok?
Am I guilty? Yes.

Let's agree that we hate each others politics but that doesn't mean we are worthless or bad people. Keep the attacks directed at the position or situation, not the person.

For the record everyone, the first person to call me a racist here was historymike. Yes, I called him a "fuckstick" in response to that slanderous remark. So please don't go digging up every posted comment in history to find some egg to throw in my face. I've already admitted to being guilty of personal attacks.

PS: No, I'm not another personality here that rants about Muslims in Toledo. I don't even think I've ever read any of those postings. ??

I only ever had it out for you because you seem so filled with hate.

But it’s cool. I never take anything on the internets too seriously and can totally be civil.

I too can be very civil. It's not hate so much as it is frustration. I have a very dry sense of humor that doesn't relay well in text. I also have a very short fuse. When I'm called something I'm not, I get real pissed. When I'm pissed, I lash out, full fangs & claws (Defense mechanism).

Peace

ahhh feel the love...this is why I hate politics and message boards so much. But I agree lets cut the personal attacks and I think there could be some really good conversations that happen. I am sure some have already but I don't read every post.

Also maybe we could get sarcasm rule...like on one message board I am we put all sarcasm in the color purple. It actually helps. Just an idea.

Anyway have a great weekend.
