My wife's sewing machine's timing is off (the needle won't catch the thread from the bobbin). Anyone know a decent and reasonably priced place or person who does sewing machine repair. Thanks in advance.

I had mine rebuilt reasonably at JoAnn Fabrics Miracle Mile. They send it out to an old man who does a great job.

I have no idea about their rates, but Domestic Sewing Service has always had good quality of work/repairs. Actually, I'm not even 100% certain they are still in business but the last I knew they were a year or so ago. They are located on E. Main Street in Metamora, OH next to the Funeral Home.
