It cane out alright thanks. I actually ended up winging it for the most part and just made a traditional type. Slather enough gravy on there and it al tastes good.
BTW, I was the proverbial idiot this year and cooked the bird with the giblet bag still in it. I searched for that thing when washing it for 10 minutes to no avail. I swore there wasn't one in there.....until it was carved.
I second that Holland. It's OK Ryan cooking is a learning experience at best :-))my sister in law trumps that. Made a big deal out of cooking Thanksgiving dinner for the whole family, forgot to turn the oven on........
I was so nervous on my first married Thanksgiving, where I was the hostess for both families, that I grabbed the 325 degree hot oven rack without any protection. Spent the remainder of the preparations giving directions to guests and the meal with my fingers dipped in two bowls of ice water. Now there's stupid!
