American flags Made in China

I wanted to express my Patriotism this Veterans Day by renewing my American flag which I proudly display in front of my house as a tribute to my country. A fine example for my children and my neighbors. How SHOCKED I was to discover when I searched the Meijer store for a flag to find the only ones they stock are MADE IN CHINA! A US flag MADE IN CHINA??? What kind of example are THEY setting??? How disgraceful is that? I now see Meijer's true colors! They responded to my e-mail first by saying that it was being forwarded to another department. Then I got a response denying that they stock such an item. Then I went to the store and had the customer service person photocopy the packaging. I e-mailed this to the person who responded who said he'd "look into it". I'm now avoiding buying anything at Meijer.

I buy from here. They disclose where the flags are made and many are made in the USA.

WalMart is the biggest, but they are all doing the same thing, buy the goods that are only made overseas. America, under corporate rule will make nothing, because we are a people who believe that we have a right to work hard and in return have a measure of comfort, a standard of living that is fair and healthy. That concept is an abomination to the corporations and your elected officials whom they buy during every election cycle. To hell with who makes the flag, lets look at who is making everything else , and WHY!!! The "why" is because you no longer live in a democracy, but in a fascist corporate run state. Bitch about that if you will.

All the chain stores have to sell is chinese made shit, and the food stores are no better. To facilitate cheaper milk from china the government under our current dictator has decided to ignore the deadly poison melamine now found in baby formula and products made with milk. The melamine's sole purpose in these food products is to fool the test that determines protein content in the milk/food. If falsely indicates a higher protein content.

Don't blame China, blame your elected republicon closet homo wide stancers for Jesus and the fascist way. LOL,, discard your tunnel vision blinders, open your eyes.

My new radical outrageous idea is to completely stop importing everything that can possibly be produced in the U.S. And start producing it. Yes we can! (wink)

Yeah so maybe we still have to import, I dunno, mangoes let's say. OK. I'm cool with that. Congratulations, Equador, you're still in business.

But other than that, we've got unfarmed land, untapped oceans and plenty of empty factory buildings. It just so happens that our unemployment rate is sky-high. Time to get to work!

I know, I know. It's completely crazy, isn't it?

With Bush soon leaving the White House maybe we can all get back to work. His family's connections to China and Saudi Arabia have ruined this country.

I just bought some american flag erasers from Andersons and lo and behold: "Made in China"

p.s. if you are looking for flags, stop by the Flag Shop in Point Place. Keep it local! They must have a good reputation, Laura Bush even stopped there to shop once....
