Anybody ever been to Taruman Sushi?

It's out on Central - a bit of a drive for me, AND - anytime I get that close to Citi Barbeque my car just automatically pulls on over, but I was told they had good rolls for a good price, but that was about third hand...

Anybody got any experiences one way or the other?

Dark, dont knock it till you try it. Im a 48 yr old beer drinkin' country boy who listens to old rock and new country, and I said the same thing till a pretty much mandatory work party brought me to Sakura on Monroe st. They assured me I could have cooked food, so I went. I got some saki bombs in me and decided to give it a try. It's great. I'd recommend it.

And BTW, Things are Oriental, People are Asian. Asian people's things are Wangs.

Billy, you went to the right place to get your sushi on for the first time. That place is really nice. From the food itself to the staff to the presentation and furnishings.

Yeah, but on our budget we cant go there all the time. I saw a write up that this taruman sells rolls for 2.50-$8 ea, and for that price, I'd make the trip. I think Im gonna drive on out there tomorrow for lunch and give it a shot just for S&Gs.

May you die of botulism from your raw fish, R.Troll.

"listen to 'new country'"
BARF that made me sicker than the thought of ingesting raw meat.

Stop your fascination with me old man. This was an innocent thread and you had to stink it up.

Again, as always, an insult to my age. Best you can do, I suppose.Do you feel the same way about the other seniors who post here or your own parents and grandparents, you mincing little wimp? Everyone go back up the thread and see who made the first personal comment. I first made a comment saying I found the practice of eating raw meat sickening. Period. So-who is it that always starts the fight and stinks things up? Ta-ta, the thread is yours, and may you choke on a fishbone. Sorry, Billy.

I don't know Darkseid, the OP asked for opinions on a specfic restaurant. Your first post looks firmly planted in trollsville to me. It's kind of like posting a movie review, and someone starts bitching about how expensive it is to go to the movies. How can you make a post like the one you did and NOT expect someone to take issue with you? If you have such a dislike for sushi (or raw meat in general), then why read (let alone post) in a topic related to a sushi restaurant?

Also, there are thousands of E. Coli cases a year from things like lettuce, tomatoes and ground beef (major ingredients in a Rally Burger). Not a lot of botulism (and most seems related to improper canning and food storage). About 20 cases a year in the US, and it looks to be fatal only about 3-5% of the time.
