Obama On Tonight Show With Jay Leno On Thursday
Comments ... #
HA! Mr. Obama will be able to take on some real tough questions on Leno. It will be like Home Run Derby, softball style. He can go on the show and sell whatever he wants and it will sound good. Though I do not care for him or his administration...this is a very smart move.
What the heck is the leader of the most powerful country in the world doing wasting time on a talk show? Is everything in Washington and the world so much under control that the president suddenly finds free time on his hands to go "on tour"?
Gosh, I can hardly wait to see him on the "View" with all the nice ladies.
Ah, but he's not just "the leader of the most powerful country in the world",
He's the messiah, a rockstar.
Ug, I just threw up a little.

This was just an updated version of Roosevelt's fireside chat. If he did it the Roosevelt way today, no one would watch. This way, more people were curious about what was going to happen because it is novel. I saw a little of it and heard nothing new - he was just trying to keep his opinion numbers up. There is nothing wrong with that, in my opinion. All politicians need to do some of that or they will lose the ability to govern. Without popularity a politician is powerless.
