This is the first youtube I've watched over and over. I've never sat through an entire Idol show. Now, I'm hooked to watch Susan Boyle.
this is a great story, but I believe it is following almost the exact same storyline that the show went down last year.......some somewhat unattractive cell phone guy wows the audience with an incredible singing voice. Its been floating around YouTube for awhile too.
I saw a clip of this yesterday on TV, not knowing what to expect. I gotta tell ya, I got choked up.
Anytime there is a standing ovation during the first minute, it will choke anyone up!
What words can be used to describe the feelings one feels when watching someones dreams come true right before their very eyes? God knows they are beyond my vocabulary skills.
This is, in my opinion, the epitome of a once in a lifetime event to witness.
Imagine if everyone were to pay it forward with even a fraction of the goodness this makes one feel. I'm no idealist, I'm no bleeding heart and I sure live in reality, but damn, just imagine!!
And if you didn't know this, let me tell you. She found the courage and determination to get up there and do that as a tribute to her Mother who had died a year or so ago. IMHO, that says it all.

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm glad she had the opportunity to display her talent for the world. Truly amazing.
The rope a dope is common on Britain's Got Talent. Simon acts like he has no idea and then they blow him away. Here is a good one from a couple of years ago:
