Yes! It's a fun outdoor challenge. I suck at it.
we went out to a friend who has a house in the sticks last night to practice up, BUT (prepare for my crybaby excuse now...)
We were shooting west in the late afternoon...
If they flung the birds up high I'd lose em in the sun. If I waited for them to drop, I'd loose em in the trees...
Wahhh... I sucked....
STILL, cant wait for tomorrow!! and for the most of the guys going - if we can get into the mid to upper 30's (out of 100), we're happy, so there are none of us who are what you'd call expert marksmen - fun as hell tho...
Where do you go?? What does it cost??

WR Hunt club Clyde, Ohio
I kinda like the idea of golf with shotguns. It could help take the edge off of some of those triple and quadruple bogey holes.

Yeah! Sporting clays! If you think you can shoot and want a lesson in humility, just try a round of sporting clays.
I've shot WR several times, and it is excellent! The best I ever did was in the high 70s. I shot my over-under in the morning and got 50 some birds, then switched to my Ithaca pump for the afternoon and proceeded to knock the hell out of those clays.
Sporting clays are great fun. There's no such thing as a bad score in sporting clays - if you hit anything at all, you're doing good. There is one guy that shoots at WR that can get 98 or 99 pretty regularly, and I can't remember his name.
Have a great day at WR!
And hey, Billy, when you get back post your scores and tell us how the day went.
I'm envious. I wish I was going out there with you.
If it involves shotguns it must be fun.
