Mayor & Comissioners Cutting Grass

It might seem like a good thing having the mayor and the managers cut the grass, actually doing work for a change. However, keep in mind that the workers who did this job were either laid-off or assigned what were deemed more important tasks. It is not fitting that the mayor and managers take over workers' jobs. If the mayor and other managers jobs are so unimportant that they can take time from them to mow lawns then they are the ones who should have been laid-off, not the ordinary workers. Besides, look at the pay scale. The mayor and the rest of the city white collar crew earn alot more than mere groundskeepers, so why pay that scale to cut grass? Once again, ordinary workers become the victim to preserve bloated, overpaid managers.

Sweetie, now you know better than that. You can't have a bunch of grasscutters runnin the city, cuz you wanna lay off the higher paid mayor. Come on now. Shoot.

Maybe instead of the Mayor cutting grass they should have some of those fat police officers helping out. While cutting grass, they could keep an eye out for anything unusual where they are mowing.
