Punch Clock Campaign

A local version of the Sunlight Foundation's new project called The Punch Clock Campaign.

We are offering members of the public a "goodwill bounty," or fee, of $1,000 for each Member of Congress, and $250 for each candidate, that they persuade to sign the Punch Clock Agreement, an agreement to put their daily schedules on the Internet. Members of Congress work for us, and we should know what they do every day.

Local political positions may or may not be full-time jobs. But it still would be nice to see the schedules of the politicians when they are working. Even if it's a part-time job, we can see how much time or how little time the politicians are devoting to the position.
