Whats going on with COSI? The levy passed and yet it still hasn't reopened. What are they waiting for? I wish they would move it next the Zoo and turn the building back into Portside.

They needed time to spend the levy money, silly.
From the info I got from people in the know, they won't be reopening until January at the earliest. Reason I heard was that if they open before the end of the year they have to offer people their jobs back that worked there when they closed (interesting that the staff that worked with the public is offered nothing while the management and leadership that killed them before is sticking around).
Someone I know that worked there commented to me recently that there was no actual provision in the levy that mandated they ever reopen. Not sure the legality of that point...
