Reputable Air Conditioning Service Mechanic?

Mrs. TAHL's Durango has a bad air conditioning condensor. We need it replaced which involvoes removing the dash, etc.

Anyone know of a good/quality air conditioning serive mechanic. We expect to pay about $1000, but she loves her truck and won't go a summer without air.

Thanks

TAHL

If on the west side of town, I recommend Earl Brothers on Secor just north of Sylvania. Jeff Booth is the manager, and these guys are without a doubt the most honest repair people I have ever worked with in three decades of owning cars.

Jeff will find the repair options that best fit your budget, and he will never rip you off. In fact, he has several times talked me out of spending money that I thought I needed to spend, and he is always willing to use after-market or junkyard parts if the customer wants to save a few more bucks.

If it were me ...

#1) Point Place Automotive (N. Summit St)- Rob is the most conscientious guy I know. And he doesn't try to sell you the fries.

#2) Lonsway Automotive (Laskey) - Had the AC on our Villager redone there. They did a great job and the price was very reasonable.
