Well, there arent any cops any more, so people are gonna have to fend for themselves. I do belive I'll have a Cottage Inn pizza this weekend...

Reminds me of another, recent, local story.
Jun 9, 2009 - WTVG - Local business owner catches car thief :
"I was nervous because I had a lot of documents in the car, papers and a checkbook. I just purchased this place. All my stuff was in the car." He caught up with the suspect who had stopped for a red light at Huron and Madison.
Mahmoud pulled out his gun, ordered the guy to turn off the car and held the suspect until police arrived. "He shut the car off. I said 'Put your hands on the steering wheel'. Then I walked around the car to his window, I opened the door and said 'You move, I'm going to take you out'."
Mahmoud admits he made a mistake by leaving his car running. "I was kind of shaking because I don't want to hurt nobody but people like that shouldn't be on the streets, bottom line."Uh, oh. I think it's illegal to leave your car running unattended.
Toledo residents continue trend of gun buying in wake of police layoffs
It's also illegal to use a firearm to defend your property or get it back. Now if he was in it, that would be a totally different story.
