    western Lucas County in Northwest Ohio
  • until 1000 PM EDT
  • at 703 PM EDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
    slow moving thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall across the
    warned area. Over one inch in one hour has fallen in the urban
    areas... and flooding of streets and low lying areas is likely.
  • Runoff from this excessive rainfall will cause flash flooding to
    occur. Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Sylvania... Toledo... Holland... Maumee and Ottawa Hills.

indicate a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging winds in
excess of 60 mph. This storm was located near Millbury... or 10 miles
northwest of Elmore... moving southeast at 15 mph. Nickel size hail
may also accompany these storms.

4:30 p.m. - 4:25 p.m. radar loop shows a recently-formed cell in south-central Monroe County, moving east. It appears it will move north of Toledo and out into the bay. Showers/Thundershowers over Wood County seem to be decreasing in intensity.

4:27 p.m. - Radar loop at 4:12 p.m. (behind) showed a new cell in SW Monroe County, moving SE.

At 400 PM EDT... Doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail... and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. This storm was located near Saline... and moving southeast at 30 mph.

4:03 p.m. - NWS alarm and message: Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Monroe County until 5:30 p.m.

4:00 p.m. - Radar at 3:50 p.m. shows two small cells moving into Wood County. The Michigan storms are near Monroe County, but they seem to be breaking up some.

3:43 p.m. - Radar loop image at 3:37 p.m. shows three small storms that have popped up suddenly in SW Lucas County, NE Henry County, and over Maumee Bay. Storms appear to be moving E-SE. Current radar

3:39 p.m. - Statement as of 3:34 PM EDT: The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Washtenaw County in Southeast Michigan and Wayne County in Southeast Michigan until 445 PM EDT. At 334 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. This storm was located near Canton and moving east at 20 mph.

3:30 p.m. - Partly Cloudy, around 90. No rain in our part of Toledo except for a few sprinkles. 3:20 p.m. radar continues to show severe thunderstorms located three counties to the north of Toledo.

3:00 p.m. - Sprinkles/light rain begins in Toledo. 2:53 p.m. radar shows nothing severe in metro Toledo.

2:53 p.m. - Toledo Metcalf Airport weather : Also Partly Cloudy, 92.
