If you have cable there is so much being offerred that the audience is really broken up. You can be sure that the "reality" shows will clog the airwaves on the "big three".

I only watch NBC, so I can't help with the other networks much...

There have been a lot of promos for NBC shows - A LOT. They have a new version of the bionic woman. There is also a show (forgot the name) about a guy who works at a spoof version of best buy on the geek squad who accidentally becomes a secret agent. Another one is called 'Life'. It's about a guy who was a cop, gets arrested and sentenced to life in prison, then he is proven innocent and gets his old life back plus a multi-million dollar settlement.

Not sure that I remember any other new shows, but I would say that my ability to remember those three shows to some degree that I have been utterly inundated with promos.

I have also seen the Cavemen ads - I agree, it's gonna suck huge!

Don't remember what it's called, but it's being advertised as a type of CSI show (which I love)...about the guy who can touch dead people and bring them back to life - find out who killed them and touch them again to return them to death - and then collect the reward for solving the crime. "Pushing Daisies" perhaps? Think I'd like to see that one.

But one of the summer shows that we've gotten hooked on is "Burn Notice." It's on USA Thursdays at 10 p.m. and it's about a secret agent who gets 'burned' - identity blown, accounts frozen, dumped in Miami... As he begins the process of finding out who burned him and why, he suppports himself by helping people that are 'beyond' the normal lines of assistance. It's a clever show ... his 'sidekick' for lack of a better term is Bruce Campbell (Army of Darkness fame)...

The wife and I love this show. It's produced/written really well, and it's good to see Bruce Campbell working again.

Coming up in the fall, well... nothing new sounds good. But I'm looking forward to the new season of House and Friday Night Lights.

I agree on BURN NOTICE-decent series.

I agree on BURN NOTICE-decent series. Sorry, though, I personally can't wait for CAVEMEN. If it's as funny as the commercials, it'll make it.

I'm also kindof interested in Journeyman which will be on NBC...it's about a reporter who will travel back in time and change lives. It could be good, even though it sounds like a remake-with-modifications of Quantum Leap (which I really liked).

And then there's Reaper - something about parents selling the soul of their kid and now he's a bounty hunter for the devil...This is a maybe for me and, because it's on at the same time as House, I'll probably watch it during the off-season.

Dirty Sexy Money and Cane look interesting, but they appear to be the drama-type focus on powerful families along the Dallas and Dynasty themes...never really went for those because if you missed one, you were lost for the rest of the season. But if you like those types of series, they may be right for you. And I've always been a fan of Donald Southerland who's starring in DSM - but I think this is his first tv show.

Moonlight is about a vampire who works as a private detective...it's been done before, but it's on Friday nights, so if there's nothing else going on, I might watch...so long as it doesn't conflict with any Stargate series on Sci-Fi.

I've caught a couple episodes of Sci-Fi's new Flash Gordon (as it was something I watched in b&w as a kid on late-nite tv) and it's a pretty good series...that's going to continue into the fall lineup.

And USA Network has Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip... a drama about producing a popular, late-night comedy sketch show...starring Amanda Peet. Hubby wants to see if it's any good as he likes her...

Overall, I'm a bit disappointed with the fall line-up as so much of it seems to be repeating previous shows. I just hope they continue the ones I do enjoy...(the CSIs, Bones, NCIS, House, Criminal Minds, Stargate Atlantis)

The only shows that I make sure to watch now are COPS, Big Brother, My Life on the D-List and Girlfriends (I found this show by accident and am addicted, so freaking funny!).

runs away in shame
