I'll wait until a more reliable source has been listed to believe it. I know he was rushed to the hospital, but the only site claiming he's passed is TMZ.

If he has passed that will be 3 celebrities that have passed in the last 3 days.

Holland, nothing was ever proven. Show some respect please.
That's better, When you posted, no one but TMZ was reporting he died.

Sorry Ryan, I have to agree with holland, anyone that sleeps with little children, that aren't their's, isn't right. Money can hide things and get you out of alot of trouble.

Nobody knows anything for sure lfrost, so I hope you never get accused of anything unsavory and have to take it to your death bed as fact.
I just did a quick search on eBay for "Michael Jackson" -- 2757 items currently listed.
That number could probably jump by 10-fold, within the next couple days. If you ever had any Michael Jackson memorabilia you wanted to sell, now's a good time to unload it.
I remember when Dale Earnhardt died several years ago. A ton of Dale Earnhardt items went up for sale on eBay, within days of his death.

And if the children he molested (and their parents) hadn't sold out maybe he would have gone to jail. Whatevs.
Ryan,
#1 I don't party with little children, have them spend the night, and then sleep in the same bed as them (MJ admited that was fact)
Even if he didn't do anything to those children, that still doesn't make it right. If you sleep with little kid's you are going to be accused of things whether true or not. That was a HUGE mistake on his part.

I'll say one thing: Thriller is one of the best albums of all time. My indie rock friends would ridicule me for saying that, but it is true.
Here's another good one: http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/1107051jesusjuice1.html
Sick people you are. I am not even a "fan", but your behaviour at a passing is very telling.
I would love to see all the things sundance has done, lol.

While Jackson was a huge talent, he got away with a lot for that very reason. Any other adult would have gone to prison for sleeping with children that are not their own. He was clearly disturbed. Too bad he didn't get the help he needed.
age progrssion of what he should have looked like today:

Sorry, but when OJ goes I wont be reminiscing over his stellar football career, or the films he worked in.
In the courts, 'reasonable man' is a phrase used to denote a hypothetical person who exercises qualities of attention, knowledge, intelligence, and judgment that society requires of its members for the protection of their own interest and the interests of others.
I happen to believe that a reasonable man, when confronted with accusations of pedophilia, an given the fact that he had millions to defend his name - would do just that. Defend his name.
Instead, he chose to pay off his accusers so they would go away - NOT the actions of a reasonable man. Or an innocent one.
I wish his family peace in these trying times, and in the times that follow where now that he's gone, facts will come to light.
I have such mixed emoptions on this. On one hand, the guy was the preeminent entertainer of my generation, and I will always remember the first time I heard his Off The Wall album. On the other hand, I believe that he was a pedophile, and I always believed that he had kids (or bought them from that Debbie person) in order to be able to do whatever he wanted with them.
The guy was immoral, disturbed, a pedophile, and a poor excuse for a father and husband, yet people still defend him because he sang and danced well. Just shows how far we've fallen as a society.

He was the the king of pop and the biggest celebrity of all time. RIP Michael Jackson 2009
A big +1 on Muddys comment.
The jokes are already starting; They say he won't be cremated, since he was 77 percent plastic, he will be melted down and made into toys, finally safe for little boys to play with.
L's OL as he reaches into his desk to pull out a napkin to wipe the diet coke out of his nose...
Personally, I think Michael simply went crazy at some point, and at the same time was an incredibly naive man. I really do not know about the pedophilia charges, whether they were true or not, but I've always thought it was highly possible he did inappropriate things with children that he seriously did not know were wrong. It's also possible that the families who accused him actually did so only FOR the pay-off. In either case, I think he had become a very miserable man and he was repeatedly, constantly, let down by those close to him. No one ever intervened whenever Michael did something weird, and someone should've. Britney Spears' father took some sort of guardianship over his daughter when she was going crazy; someone should've done that for Michael.
His downward spiral was even more tragic than his death is now. He was a musical genius and will remain a legend.
I didn't know him. Most of you didn't either. We only were fed bits and pieces of what the media wanted us to hear. If he did molest children then his preying days are over. If the families were merely looking for a payday, they now have to look elsewhere.
Anyone with that kind of money never gets told "no".
His performance side was amazing, no matter who you are. His personal life was at best a mystery. I have no clue what did or did not happen. Either way, he's gone. A sad day for the entertainment industry and for family and friends.

Michael Jackson Memorabilia is selling like crazy on eBay! If you have anything Michael Jackson and need some cash sell it on ebay for top dollar. I saw that several of today's New York Times sold for over $50. Maybe I could get $1 for the today's Blade.
He started out kind of normal acting and was certainly a talented artist, but he sure became an oddball & a self-indulgent weirdo. He had a lot of fans, but I wasn't one of them. I wouldn't have walked across the street to see him in concert even if it was free.
