If his true personality was the same as his TV persona he seemed like a decent guy. For the fist time last week I watched one episode of 'Pitchmen' and found him to be quite funny, warm and entertaining.

Holland, I agree with you. I really enjoyed watching him on his reality show. Also noticed that he was doing commercials for name brand products like Arm & Hammer. You just know when he enters the Pearly Gates, he is screaming "Hello, Billy Mays here"

I had the pleasure of meeting him at a home builders show out in Nevada a few years ago, he is nothing like how you see him on tv. He is a really nice guy and he doesn't always yell.

The news just had a report showing an interview with Billy Mays after a rough landing on some flight. He said something hit his head, but then he also said jokingly "Ive got a tough head, I guess I can take it". I guess just you never know when you're going to go.
