Heroes in Perrysburg. They rent or host parties on site. Nice folks.

American Rental in Holland.

toledorents.com is where I rented a dunk tank from but you can rent inflatable jumpy things from them too.

There's a place on Tremainsville that does this -- I think it's called Play and Jump. My daughter went to a party there and it seemed all right -- she's 5 and had a good time. There's also Monkey Jump in Perrysburg, but that place never looks very clean.

My daughter has been to birthday parties at both of the places Anniescki mentioned.

There's another similar place in the mall, down by the JcPenny wing. (In a storefront that used to be a sports memorabilia type place, was a hair salon a long time before that) My daughter went to a birthday party there as well.

We were all over the birthday party circuit this year, now that my kids are school aged. Attended parties at all the inflatable/bounce places mentioned, the Y, Chuck E. Cheese, Major Magics, a waterslide park, etc.

Guess it just depends on your budget. Remember that if your kids are toddler aged, they won't know if their party is "unique" or not...all they care about is if they have fun! And a group of kids that age can have fun anywhere.

I agree with mom2 - as a mom of 3 grown kids, I 'get' the urge to want to throw creative, unique parties for your kids. But mom2 is right - toddlers won't care & will NOT remember much except if they had fun (if they remember at all). All a toddler's birthday party should be, are a few close friends of the kid & family members, and a cake - or maybe something more that's inexpensive. Toddlers have very short attention spans so party games are out (they also don't always handle losing very well - my oldest son threw a temper tantrum of monstrous proportions when he lost a game at his 4th birthday party - and he was always very well behaved). Toddlers also tire easily.

One of my pet peeves are the parties thrown for kids that are 'extreme' to anything we, as kids had when we were little. It quickly becomes something you have to 'top' the next year, and the next, etc. - which also grows in expense, until they reach absurdity. I bet very few of us had inflatables & things like that for our birthday parties when we were kids - so what is it about parents nowadays that they think this is a 'must do' thing? Kids just want to have fun with their friends & family, with some food & cake & balloons. Of course your toddlers will love the inflatables, but unless you're prepared to meet or 'top' that in future parties, be careful how overboard you go when they're this little.

The advice I've read & heard over the years about throwing parties for kids under age 5, is to keep them small & short - after 2 hours or so, they're going to be tired & whiney. Ask yourself if it's worth the cost of the inflatable for that short time. If you're wealthy, then I guess it's not an issue - but it quickly becomes hard to keep up with what you did the year before. And the older the kids get, the more they remember, and if the day comes you have to cut back a bit, the next party will seem like 'less'. Please don't spoil your kids too much - they come to expect it.

PS - and the older they get, the more they brag about the cool parties, and the more friends they make, the bigger the parties become (more expensive). When they get to the bragging stage, it can make other kids feel 'less privilaged', hurt feelings to those not invited, etc. There's a lot of wisdom behind the adage "Keep it simple". The more overboard you go when they're little, the more overboard you'll feel you have to keep on doing.
