Build the garage taller so there's more spaces to park

Cheap lots (?) I've read in various threads concerning down town that there are dirt cheap places to rent for commercial space due to the economy and lack of desire for businesses to move there.
I'd really like to know the where/how much/who to talk to, because I'd be interested in renting a space.

bill horman said a parking garage will not make or break downtown redevelopment - actually it will not "make it" but lack of enough garages can "break it". this is an important element in the comeback.
if they bring the garage out closer toward summit st. they could get additional spaces without going higher.

Downtown Toledo building's future in limbo...

huh... that's a very frustrating situation. i'm glad the city is being cautious with this, since we do have a pretty horrible track record of development. the owner of the building, on the phone to ABC seems like a bit of a dimwit. claiming they have a proven record of commitment to the project with the proof being they've paid their taxes on the property for the past 12 years.
well duh, they HAVE to pay their taxes. that doesn't prove anything
Hope the city government doesn't involve itself in this.

City of Toledo needs to stay far away from this project. The asbestos removal is a nightmare.
Good to see something finally happening with the property.
