Inexpensive Brand Name clothing

Gildan brand shirts, eh? How are they doing these days in the area of sweatshop work?

These sorts of sites typically are left over stock from bulk purchases of clothing for things like logo printing.

If you shop Walmart you have no right complaining about sweatshops.

I buy my shirts at the Goodwill. Nice store down the street in the DeVeaux shopping center. $3.50 for a long-sleeve or a short-sleeve button up shirt. And I don't care where they were made when I buy them at the Goodwill.

are with the Chinese.

I got that from the Toledo Blade, don't you know. Remember their ad campaign to get Toledo to be more like China. I'm easily influenced by the Blade.

Agreed that the Goodwill and the Salvation Army are excellent resources for keeping costs down on clothing and household items. I have been shopping there for years, long before the recession made resale shops suddenly seem chic.

Salvation Army on Stickney and Manhattan has clothing 1/2 off the ticketed price on selected items.

I like church sales. St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Maumee just had one. Church sales are usually cheaper than Goodwill or Salvation Army. Some of their "junk" is better quality than I have in my house. The next one if May 4-5, 2010. Check their website.

Shopping second-hand isn't only good for the pocketbook. It's also very GREEN.
