What to do with old shotgun shells

I have a partial box of 410 gauge shotgun shells that are probably over thirty years old. They have been stored under average indoor conditions of moisture and temperature. They look okay, but I have concerns about shooting them as well as continuing to store them. Can anyone tell me what to do with them?

Take them to a bar!

I had the same thing recently. Toledo Police will take them for destruction. You can either drop them off at the Safety Building downtown or call and have a cruiser come by and pick them up. They will take firearms as well.

Nit pick: it's .410 bore not gauge.
