And not a moment too soon. With the weather changing the produce at the supermarkets is only going to get worse and worse.

Yea, sorry. Summit and 118th. Used to be an In and Out, right across from the fire station.
Not "In and Out" as in "In and Out" burger?!?!? No... couldn't be.
LOL! I wish, we need something besides McD burgers out there.
In and Out carryout.
I'm so excited...it's just up the street!!!!

Awesome! I have been waiting for this since we moved up here! & I can walk there - even better!
Hooray!!!!!
I'm so excited to have a Monette's in the Point! No more need to pick through the stuff they call produce at the supermarkets!!!!
I love the idea of Monnette's, but I confess that every time I enter one, I am overcome by the smell of mold. Vegetative mold, often. Citrus mold, EVERY time. Bums me out.
I went today. Seems they are open, but not totally stocked just yet. They were giving out some free stuff including a free Sunday Blade. I got an entire cloth bag full of stuff for under 10 bucks. And everything is in good shape. I love Monnettes!
Nope. Offer bad products/produce no one will come. Even if it is cheap. Still buying Monnettes, just happens to be Glendale, or either Alexis locations!
I'm surprised the one in PP didn't make it. I've never been to that one. I go to the Secor one, they seem to be doing ok, always busy. But, their deli is slowwwwww. Decent prices, so I wait or go right when they open.
smbfc, it is weird that the quality between the poin location and all the rest differed so much. I tried shopping there, but half the time stuff looked old or they were out of it. I wonder if this was just some weird experiment to see if they could sell off older produce or what.
no place, any place, like point place

I actually tried it out a few months ago, but the produce looked terrible. Sad, really. I love point place and once I found a quick route from the Old West End (thanks to Manhattan Blvd.) I've been shopping more and more over there (kroger and house of meats).

justareviewer, we never claimed to be perfect.
are you brother/cousin/lover with hockeyfan?
I stopped in there 3 times, and each time the stuff looked old and limp. The prices didn't seem to be much cheaper than meijer or kroger and quality was well, poor. I was very dissappointed in what they tried to peddle there.

I was to the Monnettes on Glendale last week and must say I was disappointed. The quality of product and selection has really diminished since last year. The building was sweltering hot and a bad smell was emanating from the deli. The produce look wilted, it was hard to maneuver around the workers stocking the racks, prices were not any cheaper than anywhere else except for maybe Kroger. I left and went to Andersons.
