Advice for wireless playback from a laptop needed

I want to expand my home audio center by to include wireless playback from a laptop. What do you recommend? I’ve read about Linksys G Music Bridge but it only receives average reviews. Also, what software do you recommend for music management and downloads? Thanks

are you using a PC? how about itunes?

I'm a Mac user, and have one of these connected to my stereo: http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB321LL/A/AirPort-Express-AirTunes?fnode=MTY1NDA0Mg&mco=MTA4NTc4MTE

it extends not only the wireless network in my house, but also has an audio out which extends my itunes library. I have one connected to my kitchen stereo as well and can stream the music through all rooms at the same time. pretty easy to set up but the signal sometimes cuts out for no reason.

I recommend Logitech's Squeezebox. Been using them a few years now and very pleased. They're easy to navigate and have all the outputs you'll need. A cool new touch model is coming very soon.

For music management, I still use the pre-Yahoo! MusicMatch Jukebox.

And for buying songs, the new Napster light is pretty good. $5/month gets you five download credits and free streaming for the entire library - which can conveniently be played through your Squeezebox.

Thanks all. I’m probably going with Apple Airport Express.

I already have two zones but, this looks like it can most aptly enable my lazy ass to drown out the crap my wife listens to and stream from

with minimal effort!:)
