Looking for a recipe

Ever lose a recipe?

Last year I'd found an autumn sausage and apple casserole recipe that was awesome!!

So now when my wife asks me if I can make that again this weekend, I go to the ol' recipe file, and do you think it's there???

Anybody ever heard of such a recipe? I mean, I can google them up, but I dont remember mine having all the allspice and cloves and what all in it...

I know I got it out of one of those impulse recipe books that are at the checkout line at the grocery store

Here is a twist on the recipe using Sweet Louise Apple Cinnamon sauce. It is locally made by a woman in Holland and sold at the Libbey outlet. Tried it once and it was quite good:

Don't know about autumn sausage but here's a recipe called Apple Cheese Casserole:

3 cups peeled and pared sweetened apples (not pie filling)

1/2 cup butter, softened

8 oz. Velveeta cheese, room temp.

3/4 cup flour

1 cup sugar
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Place the apples in an oven safe casserole dish.
In a medium bowl, combine the butter, cheese, flour, and sugar. Spread this topping over the apples (do not stir). Bake in a 325 oven for 30 to 45 minutes until brown.
Serves 6.

Sorry don't know the recipe but sounds like an interesting dish. To answer your other question yes sadly.

Still trying to find my grandmothers peanut butter fudge recipe.

This may be it, since Taste of Home usually has the books at the checkout counter.
