Owens Community College Dental Clinic

Has anyone ever been to the Dental clinic at Owens CC? I need two fractured teeth reapired and my insurance won't cover it. Does Owens do these types of proceedures there? My dental office charges way too much to have this done. If not Owens does anyone know a cheap place for Dental work? Thanks

Here is a link to the services offered by the dental clinic at Owens. It doesn't look like they do tooth repair but you can call them at (567) 661-7294 to be sure.

I'm basically in the same boat as you are
Walleye I contacted Owens and they told me they only do "cleanings" no repairs and it costs about $30.00 for the cleaning.

look around town for "free" or low costs clinics,if you have cavities and a tooth ache
try this I have 3 teeth that the darned filling's fell out of and had the start of a infection.! I put the tip of a cotton swab soaked in hydrogen peroxide into each one that hurt and left in over night. I can't afford the replacement of the fillings and the so called "Den temp" stuff is a waste of time.! So for the last month I've been putting 5 -6 drops of "Gorilla Glue" on a bottle cap and let it set for 10-15 minutes or just until it starts to set up, then take a tooth pick and put just a little at a time on the tip and add it to the cavity until its full its good to dry the spot or cavity but not necessary, and you can close your mouth right away "BUT DON'T GET ON YOUR LIPS" it won't stick yr lips together and it will scrape off but its just a nuisance until ya get it off,

I've been doing this for a month with no side effects my friend, and it takes about 20-30 mins to set up and you'll hardly notice any discomfort while it's in and your pain will stop in a short time as well !!

Also every time you go to the bathroom put a ounce or two of peroxide in your mouth and swish it around and you will not get a infection or tooth ache either!

After you use the cotton swab to stop any pain, stop with the swab, and use the glue,

And swish every time you shave or use the bath room with the peroxide for a minute or two. Also it will not hurt you to swallow a small amount. just rinse yr mouth out with water or have a coffee my friend.. GB.....jack PS...

If you go to www.earthclinic.com you'll see its suggested to use a atomizer or nasal spray bottle with water and 1/3 hydrogen peroxide, spray it in a fine mist and breathe it in while taking a deep breath over the bottle or atomizer. This will help clear your lungs of any infection or a cold..

Ann Arbor dental school does a wide range of services for a fairly reasonable price, driving up and back are a pain as is the amount of time you are there because everything has to be checked by a dentist supervising the dental students, but I know several people who have been there with pleasing results, I know someone that is getting a mouth guard for less than half what mine cost here in Toledo.
