Looking for a tiny tree

we're opting not to set up the 7' tree this year - we have a new puppy, and we're still working out a couple "issues" with the little bugger...

Anyway, we're thinking about putting a small one on a table in front of our window.

Anyone have any ideas on where to get an inexpensive baby tree?

Home Depot had a 25" live one in burlap, complete with lights...

Or you could try area greenhouses/flower shops.

If you're not committed to a regular Christmas tree, you could try some alternatives - like a Norfolk Pine or a Rosemary bush. The Norfolk Pines are usually sold by florists and they look wonderful trimmed in red, though the branches aren't strong enough for many ornaments. The Rosemary bushes can be as large as 25" and are trimmed in a Christmas tree shape, though, again, the ornaments may pose problems.

Good luck - with the tree search and the puppy!

It would likely look ridiculous but I swear I need a tree that has no branches on the bottom 3 feet.

Our 2 Labradors have, as I call it, no, "ass awareness". Meaning, they don't realize the position of their butts in relation to their heads. They stand their lovingly looking at you, waiting to be petted....while their tales beat the hell out of the Christmas tree. :P

I have seen a small aprox 20" tall table top x-mas tree at Meijer's and a few other places...and the neat thing is the tree is a rosemary plant trimmed like a x-mas tree...smells great plus you can use the rosemary as herbs for your cooking.
