I'm trying to find a local place I can donate some clothes I no longer need. I would like to give them to a place the will give them to people in need rather than sell them.
Anyone know a good place to donate clothing?

many shelters accept clean clothing...
Also, there was a local church that created a program for men similar to the Suitably Attired donation program for dress clothes for women. They accepted any type of clothing that would be appropriate for interviewing, including business casual attire.
Unfortunately, I don't recall which church it was - but maybe someone on TT will know and can share the information.

There's been quite a bit of publicity about the Clothing Your Community drive on Channel 11. You can drop off your used clothing at any Anderson's store. Here is a list of other dropoff locations:
