Thought this was interesting, especially since the article shows a Walleye with the disease. Luckily it doesn't do harm to humans but I wouldn't want to eat one.

Any anglers here catch such a fish?

I'm surprised anything can live in any body of water on earth.
From being in the Navy, I can tell you first hand how much trash just gets dumped in the oceans. Garbage, oil, radioactive water, etc all gets dumped anywhere beyond 12 miles from land.
Do you know how nuclear plants get rid of radioactive water? Since they can't just dump it like it is, they add regular water to it until it's below the legal limits, then just pump it out. For instance, if you have 50 gallons of "bad" water, they'll add 100 gallons of lake water to it. Then, when they sample it, it falls below the legal limit and they just pump it into Lake Erie for all of us and fish to enjoy.
Right now there is a huge mass of plastic garbage floating in the Pacific Ocean. It is huge.
I'm not a "tree hugger" but what some do the environment is horrible.
