Suggestion to hospitals helping haiti people

well, seeing Europe has such a better healthcare system, why not there?

This is a very noble effort that is being undertaken to help people in a natural disaster.
Please do not muddle this subject with all that racial point of view.

Point is, seeing that the American hospital system is overburdened to the point that flights out of Haiti had to be stopped because many Florida hospitals were denying care and that Florida seems to have been the only state allowed to accept Haitian injured, it just begs a reason why...

And seeing Europe's Healthcare system is designed for these types of medical attention without worry on who is going to pay for it, it would just seem logical to utilize.

You'll probably be on a hate list now. I wrote a letter of opinion to the Toledo Blade. In it, I suggested the irony of liberals who have told me the U.S. should mind its own business regarding Iraq...but, now they want us to rebuild Haiti. I have since had several hateful letters sent to my home from cowards to afraid to sign their letters of hate or put a return address on the envelope.

We really don't need healthcare reform from the government costing tax payers billions of dollars. Simplify it. Do 2 things.
1-Drop the state boundries on healthcare. Let healthcare companies compete nationwide.
2-Institute some form of tort law to prevent bullcrap lawsuits against doctors and hospitals.

As far as Haiti goes, the only reason why hospitals and our government chooses to help those from haiti, when there are americans here needing help, is because it's a great "photo-op" and free publicity? And the fact that haiti is very valuable strategic asset being that close to Cuba and the U.S.

Since we're bringing all these haitians here and handing out citizenship to them, let's just take it further and open our north and south borders too. Everybody gets in and becomes a citizen for the next 2 years. Yeah!

Isn't it funny that these haitians lived in poverty for years and no one here, including famous people, gave a crap. But now it's the most important thing you can do. I hope people don't start searching the internet for people and countries that need help. The "novelty" of helping will soon lose it's appeal because they'll run out of money long before they've helped all those that really need it.

Iraq's oil is the same as Haiti's location on the map. Both appeal to our government as something we need. If not, we wouldn't give a crap politically about either. Just because the government "spins" the propaganda on you, doesn't mean you have to take the bait.

I don't believe in "gates", they're all sliding doors like star trek has. But since you referenced religion, does that mean you are getting a better grade or rating after death because you chose to help haitians? So funny. Your intention might have been to help, but once your donation left your immediate hands, how are you sure it actually helped anyone.
You'd be better off helping at the Cherry Street Mission. If you want to feel better, I'll put a little sign in the window that says, "Haitian Survivors Eat Here".

Kooz, I'm being stalked by a delusional local drunk. For 4 years as he goes from screen name to screen name, so far 14 in all that I know of, doing his part to "censor" me by harassing me and getting banned from all the local blogsites for his efforts all because I live in Florida and post on Toledo subjects. I'm not allowed to post because I don't pay the taxes I guess lol He's showered more attention on me than my own wife INCLUDING using "el machio" screen name to stalk my classmates.com page, and that even includes the hundreds of emails I've recieved showing his envy of my life by wanting to screw my wife. And the sick part is he makes all that effort for ME, which includes a phoenominal "double screen name attack", for pete's sake. But I have to admit it is a better place to KNOW how stupid the person is that tries to harass you and not read annonymous mail and try to figure it out.

There's no complaining about saving the Haitians, it's about American's healthcare being stabbed right through them and yet injured refugees get the same care for "free" (at taxpayer's expense).

And Toledolen? Refugees were denied medical attention as noted above with the cancellation of flights to the states last Wednesday. Because the hospitals were "at capacity" because no one was compensating these hospitals for the care. (Flights have since resumed). And how come no other states are reporting their assistance in this tragedy? The orphans are getting more assistance than the injured.

So because of the "aid denied to (Haitians) in need" in Florida, who's the complete asshole in that debacle?
