Liberty Tax costumed Wonders

I have seen a number of these guys around town. Everytime I do, I laugh and swear to get a photo to document the novelty of the promotion. Almost every poor person out promoting Liberty Tax service has some unqieu if not weird spin on the costume they have to wear.

Certainly, you guys have seen these costumed people as well. I saw this guy a few days ago, and finally snagged a photo.

I don't know why, but I just find this promotion funny and note worthy. Have you guys seen any other twists on the costume / promotion?

Disclaimer: No I don't work for Liberty Tax, have family/friends who do, or gain anything by posting this topic.

HistoryMike's coverage is pretty spot on. A job is a job - the story he posted is rather good. I wonder where the gentleman featured is now.

Must be a "Nationwide" thing.

We hae the exact same costumes jumping around down here in Florida in the medians with the exact same signs.

I know a region director aka Master Franchisor. They are run by the same guy who started Jackson Hewitt. The biz model is targeting store front locations in mostly depressed urban areas and some rural locations.

Just - that is cool. It is a nice way to spank some life into some areas, even if only for a little whilte. H&R Block use to do that, don't know if they still do.

In other towns I've seen fairly young people wearing the Liberty suit (like, 11-year-olds). I assumed that each franchisee gets a costume as part of the business model, and the owners would draft family members to help out.
