Legends Sports Bar closing and becoming a Jed's

Interesting...the question is will it be a Jed's by the good Owners (the Govita Bros)or the douche bag scammer Owner Ken Pompora that screwed employees, landlords and vendors out of money at the former South and North Toledo sites. I think the guy somehow got back into it and is running the campus one and the one attached to Headliners. If he is involved there is no way I will ever frequent his bars. The only good one are the Maumeee, Pburg and BG ones.

Depending on who the owner is, I think this could be good for downtown. Downtown needs more locally-owned business franchises, especially quality ones like Tony Packo's and Jed's. Places like these give out-of-towners a bit of local culture while adding to the growing list of 'amenities' our city has to offer.

Just want Toledo needs, another place where young girls hang their boobies out! I heard on the radio that Platinum Show Grils now serves food, the difference between them and Jed's is a spaghetti strap.

I not Moral Oral by any sorts but sometimes I just want food without blaring music and feeling like a perverted old man looking at almost high schoolers. But too each their own, just my half a cent.

Is he the one that used to own the Jed's in that strip mall by nickel world and the old Murray's??

If it is he dressed like a douche too. My dad and I frequented that quite often and got to know most of the waitresses, and bartenders. He would always come in with is spiked up hair, driving gloves, and 80's Don Johnson clothes.

My understanding he owned a couple Jed's including the closed one at Northtowne mall. From what I heard he kept the cash from the government withholding taxes and spent it on drugs or something. Pretty stupid the government came in and shut him down hard.

It beats having another Mexican restaurant!Also,nobody is forcing you to go to Jeds.There are plenty of other restaurants that should satisfy your needs.

I don't know how you can compare Jeds to Platinum Show Girls.I don't think that Jeds offers total nudity with lap dances in a back room.Apples meet Oranges!

I'm with your Ryan. I like naked women. I like food. I'm just not sure "Free Buffee" at Platinums's sounds like a good mix.

I fully support semi nude women serving me food as long as the food is good. I go to restaraunts to eat.

The good owners (The Govita Bros) are opening up this location. i think it's kind of funny to have Jeds and Frickers so close to each other. I do like a variety and I think this Jeds location will do well. I like Jeds food better than Frickers, so this is a plus for me.

I agree... frickers food is not that good. I welcome some variety in the fried chicken wing department for my downtown eating choices.

There is something very fowl about the size of Frickers wings. Way too big.

Last time I seen that was when Chris Frick owned the Jed's off of Rt 20, and his dad owned the Frickers down the street.

This is nothing new.They have been near each other on Reynolds road for years.In fact, Jeds is now closer to Frickers in Maumee than it was before when it was on the other side of the turnpike entrance.
