I swear I saw a coyote standing on the berm of the highway yesterday morning as I was driving eastbound on 475 past Wildwood about 8 am.

Lots of coyotes around. I live in Wood County and see them often. Mostly in farmers' fields at the edge of subdivisions. It's like they're looking for little designer dogs in back yards.

I'm surprised you can shot them at will.

They're considerd varmints and are therefore classified as troublesome.

They have also been known to attack small children, and small animals.
