Andrew Z Opening 3rd Restaurant

http://www.toledofreepress.com/2010/04/01/table-forty-4-among-restaurants-opening-this-season/

I can't believe he is already going to open a third restaurant. We ate at the original Andrew Z in Levis Commons, and we thought the food was just ok and the service was horrible. I would like to try the downtown location, to see if anything has changed and give them a second chance. I'm not in the food service buisness, but it hasn't even been a year and he will have 3 stores open. I'm just blown away and wish him luck!

Fat Andrew will burn and crash, just as many others before him.

He is so full of himself that he cannot comprehend the fact that many in Toledo detest his self-serving attitude.

I wish him the best too. Toledo is really lucky to have so many people willing to invest their time and money into the downtown area. I haven't been to the levis commons location based on all of the bad reviews, but i'm definitely going to give it a try now that it's closer.

The piano bar atmosphere just may work at Levis. If he is smart he will get experienced bartenders and a well stocked bar. I swear anymore you have to explain exactly what is in a drink to half the people. There is a reason there are bartending schools. Just because you work behind a bar does not make you a bartender.

Best of luck to him, just hope it doesn't grow to quickly requiring one store to support another. Whatever keeps him in business is ok with me.

Personally I love the food. Now I'm craving it, guess I know what's for dinner tonight. :)

Will have to check the other stores, since I'm curious if the food quality is the same. Thought part of the pizazz of his Levis store was the Chef. Unless they found a way to clone.

I was at the Levis Commons location for the first time this past Saturday. I was really happy with the Pizza, bread balls and Chocolate cookie dessert (the salad's could be a lot better) The kids had a blast and loved requesting all their favorite songs from the DJ. The atmosphere is what makes it more than just another pizza place. I was very impressed and at every table around us everyone else seemed to be having just as good of time.

I'm excited to hear that he's opening another place. It's great that Levis Commons has become a destination for night life in NW Ohio. If it's anything like a Howl at the Moon it will do well.

Good luck to him. Anyone willing to start/expand a business in this town deserves praise.

I liked the pizza and the southwest egg roll thing. The service was just to bad for us to want to go back and sit down. We went a week or two after opening, so I hope they weeded out the bad servers. I understand that it is a rough time for a restaurant, but, it wasn't crowded and we were their after the lunch crowd. And, it seemed like Andrew was schmoozing with the people who were in suits and ties. We were in there for over an hour and he never stopped at our table or any other table surrounding ours.

But, I love pizza, and I am willing to try their place again!
