Has anyone on this site been there for lunch? I have never been and have not heard much about it, but would like to take a friend there for a long lunch on Thursday. Any info would be appreciated.

Excellent choice day or night. Good specials on weekdays.
Not a bad place, the food isnt my style. I went for their Thanksgiving meal one year and didnt care for it. However everyone else LOVED IT. I am a picky eater...so...meh.
This pickie eater was not impressed. Everyone else loved it.

Dined there a couple times and was pleased. Later, somebody told me they have excellent French onion soup.

Was there with family earlier this month. Stay away from their barbecue platter. The sauce was bitter and pulled pork was full of non-edible pig parts. My prime rib was OK, Wife's dinner was OK, but not memorable - we can't even remember what it was. The barbecue platter was so overwhelming bad that we struck the restaurant from our list.
Get the Onion Rings! The blackened steak is awesome too.

Been there a few times with friends. The food was decent. People are right about the portions. They are big.
But I prefer more quality than quantity.
I put a :() to let you know I was kidding.
Personally I don't think anybody does that great a job w/ bbq in Toledo.
