What was the weird smoke/pollution line in the ENE tonight?

naw, Kat, I've seen that, I've lived on the East Side almost 40 years. this was along the whole horizon out over the lake and made the light of the sky behind it (below it as seen from Monroe) look really wierd, like shiny white.

I know they had some pretty nasty storms go through Michigan. Could it have been seeing some of that from a distance?

this was Wednesday night, hon, clear as a bell and we were looking east from Monroe, no storms had passedover that day. LAST night (Thurs) was supposed to be bad, was it?
