Anyone know what's going on, on Wheeling between the 280 exit (Navarre/Route 2) and Woodville Road? Looks like they bought out several houses along the road and perhaps widening it to 3-4 lanes? Further down the road they are tearing up land for what looks like more lanes, curious how is will affect the fruit stand there.
Haven't found any details and curious.

I believe they are widening the bridge over the Expressway and also that stretch of Wheeling. This has been talked about for years. I have also heard that at least one of the home owners did not want to sell, but what the Government wants they get.
Also they have put in a stone road leading to the greenhouse & fresh produce business.(brain cramp on the name of the place)
It will be long overdue project, improved access to I280 and hopefully shorter waits at the red lights

SherryET: thanks, I was wondering what was going to happen to that fruit/vegetable stand since it's so close to the road. Was glad to see they at least left a part of the road open in front of it so people could still get to it.
