Does anyone know about the group that flies illuminated kites after dark in the Bass Pro Shop area? They attach strings of holiday lights to their kite strings. You can see them from the turnpike some nights (I'm guessing weekends?). What a cool hobby!

I started seeing them on my way back from Cedar Point in '98. I was struggling to keep my eyes open with my passenger snoring next to me when i saw what i thought was for sure, an alien invasion. In pulled of the road and stared in disbelief for a minute until i woke up. They probably saved my life.
that isn't a hobby, it's a business. we stopped and talked to them one night. cant remember the details exactly, but they sell them or rent them for your event or whatever.
