Zingo's in downtown Perrysburg for the best gyro. Hubby is a real gyro hound; I've watched him eat them at Charlie's, Manos, Ahmed's, and many many other places. He says Zingo's is the best he's ever had, and he knows whereof he speaks!
Ok-So-Viola is consistent. She just made this exact same comment about her excitement over the new Zingo's in Cricket West. I challenged her, and said I would start a new thread about that subject. Lo and behold, TT had it covered 7 years ago, and Viola followed up in 2013, with her additional findings.
So-If you haven't weighed in before-who has the best? I like Grape Leaf, Gyro/Kabob and Manos, for Gyros. My criteria are the following-Good, fresh, soft Pita, VERY crisp grilled meat Good fresh veggies (onion, lettuce tomato-not mealy, pickle, or some combo of those), and great Tzatziki.
What say you?
