Wouldntcha know it, I went and lost a bet! So - to collect, a buddy of mine is coming in from out of town and I owe him a dinner. He says breakfast food is his favorite, and that's what he wants because he never gets to have a big old fashioned one..
SO - since when I pay my bets, I dont wanna ever be thought of as a welcher, I want to find the best breakfast place I can, and Im NOT talkin' fruit and granola here.... We need eggs, sausage, and all the trimmings, and most importantly the sausage gravy and biscuits, BUT - here's the caveat - it's gotta be available for the evening meal, because we're making a double date out of it...
So - suggest away... My own favorite places arent open in the evenings...
Most of the local diners that I happen to go to are closed in the evenings, so I can't necessarily help you with a local place. However, I'm fairly certain you can order breakfast any time of day at Cracker Barrel.
(We usually go to local diners for breakfast, but I do have a weakness for the hashbrown casserole, apples, and bacon at Cracker Barrel. They have the yummiest bacon.)

Doesnt look like much from the street but still one of the best.
hadnt thought about schmuckers - thanks. Never heard of the glendale garden cafe.
Bob Evans and Dennys? I think not. There are a TON of great places around, but that evening thing puts a severe cramp in the mixture...
why not make it yourself?
schmucker's ... no more wagering
I agree with swantucky, make him an incredible home made brekfast!
I agree with makinTV, Glendale Gardens has great breakfasts. Huge portions, good quality, and reasonable prices.Nice folks too.
I agree with those that suggested Glendale Gardens Cafe. It is on the corner of Glendale and Detroit. Also Reynolds Garden which has the same owner.
cant make it - the terms of the wager were to go OUT for the dinner of the winners' choice. Hey - Im getting off easy here with the fare that he's choosing.
